This morning a scrutiny committee will meet to discuss the plans for the Metropolitan Police to arm all frontline officers with tasers.
The meeting comes as a Freedom of Information request revealed earlier this week that tasers were drawn on over 400 children in England and Wales in 2013.
Of these 400 occasions, the police actually fired the 50,000 volt weapons 37 times – all on youngsters aged 10 to 7 years of age.
We want to know what you think: will police armed with tasers make London streets safer? Or could they make them more dangerous?
Vote in our poll below and, as always, tweet us your thoughts @cityviberadio. We’ll be discussing the best ones On-Air from 11am!
